Our team members work on a volunteer basis to produce something we truly believe in; a space carved out by and for queer creators to advocate towards an interdisciplinary dialogue centering queerness, normativity, identity, and aesthetics in the arts. QA is currently paid for out of pocket and supported by members of our team who believe in the mission and goals of Queer Aesthetics.
All donated funds will go towards publishing costs, organizing fees, and to furthering the circulation of QA as a free-access, printed, and digital publication. Should we surpass our base goal, leftover funds will go towards paying reviewers and contributors for their labor and providing baseline funding towards our second issue.
